Gluten free, Mango - Raspberry Smoothie with Oats & Chia

This is one of the quickest, but healthy and delicious breakfasts to go if you're in the hurry. However, I do recommend not rushing in the morning. Try to wake up earlier and take your time to enjoy your breakfast. Especially one that is yummy like this one. Your body, mind and spirit will thank you. Taking care of yourself must be the priority, because if you don’t take care of yourself who will?
In addition to that, all the ingredients in this smoothie are extremely beneficial to your health, especially the Chia seeds. Chia definitely gained a lot of popularity lately as being one of the top superfoods on the market. I personally love Chia, it is truly a fantastic ingredient with wide array of delicious and super healthy options. According to the USDA National Nutrient Database, one ounce of chia seeds (approximately 28 grams) contains 138 calories, 8 grams of fat, 12 grams of carbohydrate, 10 grams of fiber and 5 grams of protein. Eating one ounce of chia seeds per day would provide 18% of daily calcium needs, 27% of phosphorus, 30% of manganese and smaller amounts of potassium, zinc and copper. When compared to flaxseed, chia seeds provide more omega-3s, calcium, phosphorus and fiber - all essential nutrients that most people are not getting enough of. Read more

Ingredients
Banana 1 with brown spots
Mango 1 diced
Raspberry frozen 1 cup
Water 1 cup or plant based milk of your choice (you may add more if needed)
Oats 2tbs
Chia 2tbs
Maple syrup optional
Blend everything in a high powered blender and when ready fill up the container of your choice
